General terms and conditions

1. Area of application

Terms and conditions are significant for all services and deliveries made by Mavericks LLC and achieve validity, in the valid version at the time of order, after closing a contract (quad vide point 2). Deviant conditions of the contractual partner will not be taken into consideration. By sending an order to Mavericks LLC the customer confirms having read the terms and conditions and further formally agrees with its content.

2. The closing of a contract

Contracts of purchase will be closed through the acceptation of the order by Mavericks LLC. The acceptation of every order will be confirmed via email. After that every order will be handled as binding. Therefore we will always check primarily if the respective order can be dispatched.
Any obstacles for the procedure of deliverance will be immediately communicated to our customer. With the affirmation of the respective order, the customer acknowledges that he/she is crediting the volume and the content of it. Therefore questions in this context can be cleared in advance. Contact

3. Deliveries

As a matter of principle all goods will be delivered by post or by courier.
If it happens, that as an exception an article is currently not available, the customer will be immediately informed via email. In all other cases we reserve the right to make part deliveries, in order to optimize our service and in case it appears suitable to the complete delivery. Further we reserve the right to deliver orders solely as far as it is possible corresponding to our store.
As a matter of principle the indicated readiness for dispatch is representing bench marks and do not implicate, that a specific product will be ready within time. For that reason these declarations are not binding for Mavericks LLC.

4. Cash on Delivery

Orders which are placed with Cash on Delivery and are not picked up are going to be invoiced to the customer with a surcharge of CHF. 50.-. Delivery takes place after the settlement of the account.

5. Pickup at the Mavericks Shop

We offer our customers the option to pickup their orders directly in our Mavericks Shop in Regensdorf. Simply use “pickup” as your method of delivery before sending your order. In this case, no further cost than the proper purchase price will occur.

6. Pricing

As a matter of course, we are trying to to offer alle our products at best price conditions, though this price is closely linked to the prices given to us by our suppliers. Therefore Mavericks LLC exclusively reserves the right to change all prices shown at the online shop without any explanatory notes. For orders and delivery it is imperative that those prices are relevant, which have been shown on the website at the moment of the mail order.

7.Value Added Tax (VAT)

Prices for Switzerland and Liechtenstein include the statutory VAT of 8%. Our VAT ID is 595 554.
Prices for Export are exclusive VAT, which will be charged directly to the customer by the appropriate customs office.

8. Customs duties for international orders

For international deliveries our foreign customers will have to pay customs duties while passing the frontiers of Switzerland. These additional costs have to be payed by the customer himself.

9. Foreign currency

Customers of Mavericks LLC have the possibility of paying their orders in the Euro € or in US-Dollars $. The foreign exchange rate used in this connection does in general not equal with the rate of the day, peculiar is determined on the long run by Mavericks LLC. Using a foreign currency customers pay their bills through our account in Germany.

10. Return consignment

The right of returning a consignment is principally solely reserved for wrong deliveries through Mavericks GmbH, manufacturing fault, damage which occurred during transporting and for orders of wrong sizes of textiles, protection equipment, glasses and shoes according to www.sk8shop.ch. We therefore ask our customers firmly to check all goods immediately after receiving the delivery for any faults. Mavericks LLC has to be notified immediately about possible failures or scarcities. For any failures or scarcities which Mavericks LLC is responsible for, Mavericks LLC is eligible to choose by themselves between replacement or reparation. The goods have to be returned in the original packaging, unused and complete.

Wrong delivery
In cases of wrong deliverance, which means that a delivery does not correspond with the customers order, Mavericks LLC is willing to deliver the accurate product or to exchange the wrong article with a compensation of the some value (according to the customers wish). The cancellation of the order is not possible as long as the ordered goods are available.

Faulty goods
As a matter of principle faulty goods will be checked precisely at the mentioned defect, for the reason of securing the claim under guarantee. Faulty materials and failures of manufacturing will be treated likewise to the regulations in cases of wrong deliverance.
A rescission of the purchase contract is not adaptive.

Damage in transit
In case of goods which are damaged in transit Mavericks LLC has to be notified within 48 hours after delivery through E-Mail info@sk8shop.ch, with a detailed description of the damage. Otherwise the claim for replacement free of charge expires.

Costs incurred as a result of ungrounded returned goods are going to be invoiced to the customer.

Within a time limit of 5 weekdays, after the delivery of the goods, the customer is entitled to return the order according to the above mentioned regulation together with an entirely filled in letter of complaint, retrievable here. The articles have to be returned according to the principle of returning goods.
Please take into consideration that any returns will never be compensated by a monetary payment, as long as the ordered articles are available. Instead we reserved us the right to make compensations just by writing you a gift certificate or deliver you another product with the same value.
As a matter of principle shipping costs have to be borne by the customer. Unfortunately insufficient stamped returns can not be processed. Shipping costs are refundable if the delivery is wrong, faulty or damaged in transit.

Non-returnable products
"Sale %" products are non-returnable because of the large discount.

11. Guarantee

The guarantee for goods ordered through Mavericks LLC corresponds to commonly accepted standards and is therefore, if not otherwise explicit mentioned, determined on 12 months. Excluded from this regulation are all textiles, by which a claim under guarantee is solely granted in cases of defective material. Warranty claim attains validity from the date of deliverance. Maverick LLC has reserved the right to decide over warranty claims individually.

12. Insignificant variations

It happens that for several reasons our suppliers make some slight changes in the design of their products, even though most of them are just insignificant. We therefore would like to state, that we do not take any responsibility for any of these changes, due to the fact that we do not have any influence on the respective manufacturing process. None the less we concede our customers the right to exchange particular articles.

13. Care/Handling

Mavericks LLC will assume no liability for any wrongdoing of the customer while handling or caring the product. For that reason we ask the customer to regard the respective details on the product.

14. Liability in general

Herewith we formally declare that in either case there cannot be claimed for liability on the part of Mavericks LLC at all. In particular casualties, etc. in exposure with our hardware (Skate-, Snowboards, etc.) are strictly limited to personal responsibility of the customer. While using the named articles or similar, we ask the customer to orient oneself on the relative regulations given by law.
If there are any questions or insecurities please do not hesitate to ask our team about the correct handling of a specific product. Consulting will be given via email or phone, or as a third option customers are able to visit us directly in our Boardshop in Regensdorf.

15. Reservation of proprietary rights

Until the complete payment has been executed, all delivered goods rest as property of Mavericks LLC

16. Registration

In order to offer our customers the most comfortable order transaction, we provide a free registration, whereby each customer receives an individual account at Mavericks LLC. The account is an area protected by a personal password that can be generated individually, where each customer deposits any personal information required. The visibility of the account is strictly limited to the owner, thus the customer, and Mavericks LLC.
As a matter of principle the registrations simplifies the order transaction as a whole, due to the fact that personal data does not have to be generated time and time again.
The personal account can be deleted by any time and without reasons.

17. References/Hyperlinks

We formally declare that Mavericks LLC does not have any influence regarding the content of all linked pages. Therefore we dissociate from any content that belongs to any website that has been linked to sk8shop.ch. This declaration is valid for all links shown on sk8shop.ch and for all contents shown on the linked website.

18. Changes in terms and conditions

Herewith we reserve the right to Mavericks LLC to make unheralded changes of our present terms and conditions regarding only the interests of our company. For a closed contract the terms and conditions valid at the point in time of placing the order are applicable.

19. Applicable law/court of jurisdiction

In either case the connections between Mavericks LLC and the customer are subject to the law applied in Switzerland according to the regulations of the Swiss code of obligation and Civil code and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods (CISG). Court of jurisdiction therefore is situated as court of Zurich.
